Without any hesitation he mentioned: Great food, Great Service, Great Prices and Homemade food. We asked Danny to tell us what makes his restaurant so different from other establishments. This business is a neighborhood favorite and has easy access. They offer gorgeous breakfast, very filling and great value for the money and the staff is very friendly. The business took off immediately and up to this day this restaurant is a well admired and respected restaurant. In 1981, they purchased a vacant lot in the town of Munster, IN and built a brand new restaurant they named it Commander Restaurant. Their two sons Danny and Bobby were born in Michigan. In 1970, they moved from the state of Michigan to the state of Indiana, they opened a new restaurant in Lansing, IL. Not long after their arrival, they opened a snack shop in Grand Rapids, MI their family increased by two boys: Danny and Bobby. Years ago, in the mid 50’s, a man from Kastri and his wife from Ahladokampo arrived in this country from Greece. Commander Restaurant is located at 745 Ridge Rd and the owner is Danny Sirounis.
